Senior Business Developer

Support daily trading activities on the desk, working with Traders and Trading Managers Manage complex operational and settlement issues
Prepare same day PNL estimates and solve variances between desk estimates and finance numbers
Interact daily with the back office, counterparties, traders, corresponding banks, immediate supervisors, and the finance desk
Facilitate the accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions across domestic and international markets Ensure that trades are executed and confirmed in accordance with organizational policies and procedures

Equity Trade Support Analyst

Manage account within client account budget while meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Forge relationships with existing clients and develop a sense of loyalty and trust.
Assist with forecasting opportunities and managing new producted presented to the company. Verify and edit letters of credit by contacting buyers/clients and banks for information when appropriate.
Reconcile corporate business bank accounts, credit card and lines including producing letters of credit. Corroborate international bank transactions for satisfactory of both: supplier and client.

Account Executive

Launch and service institutional and mutual funds in the $50 - $500MM range for AB’s North and South American client base.
Liaise with the Portfolio Management Group, Client Sales Teams, and all core operational groups to ensure individually managed accounts and AB funds are accurately set up on internal systems in respect to investment objectives.
Execute in-kind monetary transfers and stock redemption, custodian changes, global market openings, and model account construction using the firm’s 8 in-house technology systems.
Improve efficiency, reduce outsourcing cost, and decrease manual reconciliation volume by leading the implementation of software changes to the data scraping capability of AB’s global database of mutual, institutional, and private client funds.
Manage communication and relationships with the firm’s outsourcing provider, State Street IMS, to guarantee events are completed seamlessly for clients. Develop standard operating procedure documents to guide new and existing employees on best practices for various processes

Consultant Institutional Investment Management Operations

Accruing 200+ hours of hands-on training in Financial Operations as part of a one year career development program that includes six months of college-level courses and professional training followed by a six-month internship
Served as Operations Manager and managed, facilitated welcome, overview, and action items
Founded investors Club for interested colleagues to learn about the stock market through weekly meetings, guest speakers, and analysis of market trends

Financial Operations

Appointed as the internal and external point person for logistics and daily delivery, supporting all 3 development teams with total of 30 staff members.
Answered 70-100 internet leads daily via phone and emails, resulting in scheduled sales appointments from the inbound and outbound lead calls.
