Ownership of Helia's (formerly Genworth) Reinsurance and Structured Transactions. Key responsibilities include:
•	Work with global reinsurers and brokers to renewal reinsurance treaties
•	Designed, tested and implemented reinsurance program changes

Director, Reinsurance and Structured Transactions

Responsible for supporting the business strategy through implementation of product development & management designed to promote value proposition for LMI while working with global counterparts in Product, Risk, Operations and Government Relations. Full ownership with direct reports sitting across product management, market assessment, securitization, financial planning and analysis, policy and pricing. Key responsibilities include
•	Drove tender (new or renewal) business discussions including rationale, market positioning, pricing and obtained internal approvals for contracts across a diverse lender base valued in the billions of dollars.
•	Owner of the Commercial Multi Year Plan (MYP) and Operating Plan (OP) driving key performance and pricing analyses. •	Work along side other Genworth global platforms on developing best practices / knowledge share for product, commercial, operational and government relations initiatives
•	Developed business case for new Risk Management Strategy including services to be rolled out to select customers encompassing a variety of services including Valuation, Forensic, Repurchase letters and Business Reviews for sub 80% LVR business. This work required extensive communication with the Customer, Risk, Finance, Legal, SLT and International Executives to develop a profitable, value add offering.
•	Developed alternative LMI products that meet lenders risk management appetite and provided for a more streamlined, cost effective product. This has increased the market size and the distribution channel and ‘first-to-market’ advantage.
•	Created and enhanced the product management structure, development, communication and methodology including development of performance and volume reporting used across the business.
•	Own the securitization function within LMI including the coordination of the quoting process including pricing, risk evaluation, customer management

Product and Commercial Leader

Connect Scholars is a free service devoted to helping motivated students find and obtain the most competitive rates and terms for their student loan needs. •	Developed advanced scoring algorithm predicting student default performance and continuously working with a leading global data science/analytics company to facilitate ongoing maintenance and continuous scoring improvements.
•	Market research with industry specialists to map existing process and potential opportunities for improvement.
•	Consistent communication with private equity/venture capital investors.
•	Designed easy to use website to cater to students and lenders alike, worked with front and back end developers to ensure full functionality.
•	Driving onboarding of lenders (for lending panel) with key conversations with legal, marketing and analytics departments around market outlook, operational design, pricing, data sharing, value proposition and legal code.

Founder - Exited

Responsible for development of product and business cases from inception to approval stages for new opportunities as well as Cards & Consumer Lending strategy formulation, loyalty and membership growth, implementation and communication to all key stakeholders. •	Identified and partnered with numerous new sources and channels for Citi Consumer Lending to partner with companies and distribute our products as well as add the partners to existing programs to generate additional revenue streams.
•	Led initiative to develop a co-brand ‘light’ product allowing Citibank to create partner products with smaller companies wishing to have a branded product. This required extensive technological research and involvement with numerous stakeholders to ensure successful processing and MIS tracking.
•	Provided business case support including financial, strategic rationale and market comparison analysis for the loyalty and benefits program as well as approval of marketing campaigns directed to each affiliate program/partner.
•	Led Cards and Consumer Lending strategy discussions and reformation during 2011. This included working with each business head to identify, plan, budget and implement the approved 3-5 year strategy.
•	Key driver in the completion of a successful card, payment and expense program tender for approximately $700 million in spend annually.
•	Reviewing and approved marketing campaigns and managed products throughout the lifecycle for both new acquisition and portfolio initiatives in Citi-branded, co-brand and white-label segments.
•	Point of contact for all new business opportunities including (but not limited to) white-label, co-brand and Citi-branded distribution partnerships. Responsible for meeting with external parties, identifying and sizing the opportunity and all key tasks leading up to and executing a signed agreement or when appropriate, withdrawal.

Represented corporate and private equity clients on transactions related to acquisitions for strategic or investment based purposes and business improvement assignments within the Finance and Insurance sectors. •	Managed project teams in performing detailed statistical analysis, contract negotiation, identifying key issues and revenue drivers, market analysis and industry research on various transactions and strategic reviews. •	Completed acquisitions from $25 million to $2.5 billion and vendor due diligence engagements over $5 billion.

•	Served as key liaison between several parties including client executive management, legal, tax, business solutions, bankers and other external due diligence advisors.
•	International Experience (Milan, Italy 2006) Completed acquisition due diligence while working under adverse and challenging conditions including language obstacles, a constantly changing scope and worked with multiple client consultants simultaneously.
